WASHINGTON (9/26/14)--Credit union supporters will be taken out to the ballgame this evening to celebrate 100 million memberships at Nationals Park. The Credit Union National Association is a sponsor of the game between the Washington Nationals and Miami Marlins, and attendees will be presented with T-shirts and slap koozies.
CUNA is also sponsoring the Nationals' annual photo and 2015 schedule, which will be handed out to the first 20,000 fans who come through the gate. The schedule will have the 100 million memberships logo.
The event is the latest in CUNA's recognition of the 100 Million Memberships milestone, which also included sponsoring Washington, D.C.'s Truckeroo event in August and The Hill forum last week, which featured legislators and consumer advocates.
Credit union supporters will be tweeting throughout the game using the #100MM hashtag, and credit union supporters around the country are still encouraged to tweet their selfies with the same hashtag.
