ALEXANDRIA, Va. (5/13/15)--Portions of the National Credit Union Administration website will be available in Spanish, the agency announced Tuesday.
NCUA Chair Debbie Matz said the efforts support the agency’s goal of promoting access to financial services to diverse populations.
The Spanish-language version of NCUA.gov includes translations of the agency’s home page, landing pages and press releases, totaling more than 500 pages of content.
As new content is added to the public portions of the NCUA’s website, the agency will translate the material into Spanish and post it within three business days.
According to the NCUA, regulatory and supervisory content available online in Adobe PDFs, such as Letters to Credit Unions, NCUA’s Rules and Regulations, Examiners Guide and the National Supervision Policy Manual, have not been translated into Spanish at this time.
