COLUMBUS, Ohio (5/19/15)--Alliance One, a credit union surcharge-free ATM network with more than 5,000 locations nationwide, has added access to cardholders in the northwest United States through a renewed partnership with Member Access Pacific (MAP), Tukwila, Wash.
The partnership with MAP increases participating ATMs within the MAP/Alliance One partnership to 55 from 12. With the addition of the new ATMs, there are now a total of 269 surcharge-free Alliance One ATMs in Washington.
Alliance One, developed and managed by Corporate One FCU, Columbus, Ohio, has an open architecture, which means any credit union that issues cards can participate regardless of network or terminal driver.
MAP is a credit union card management company. It is an aggregator of the Visa debit card processing service platform for credit unions.
As an incentive, Alliance One and MAP are providing discounted implementation fees for new member sign-ups. Credit unions are not required to own terminals to join Alliance One.
