WASHINGTON (6/15/15)--The House Financial Services Committee released its hearing agenda for this week. Among its four scheduled sessions, the committee and its subpanels will study the global threat of cyber "hacktivists" and receive testimony from U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew on the annual report of the Financial Stability Oversight Council (FSOC).
FSOC was established by the Dodd-Frank Act and is charged with identifying risks to the financial stability of the United States associated with financial distress or failure, promoting financial market discipline, and responding to emerging threats to the stability of the U.S. financial system.
