ALBANY, N.Y. (6/19/15)--First New York FCU, Albany, N.Y., received the UsNet Ralph W. Hillman Marketing Award during the New York Credit Union Association’s annual meeting and convention earlier this month.
The award, named for a former chair of the UsNet board, recognizes the shared-branching marketing efforts of a credit union participating in UsNet’s network.
UsNet, a New York-based credit union service organization, provides credit union members access to more than 5,000 shared branches throughout the United States and internationally.
“Sharing and cooperation are core pillars of the credit union movement, and First New York’s commitment to these principles has benefited the entire shared-branching network,” said Bill Bywater, UsNet vice president.
UsNet elected board officers during the annual meeting as well.
Elected to serve one-year terms were:
“Our board of directors has a long history of guiding the network in ways that benefit all the participating credit unions and their members,” Bywater said.
