Fundamentals of FIs: Free classes for employees of CCUA member CUs

August 20, 2015

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (8/20/15)--Through its partnership with Cooperative Credit Union Association (CCUA), New England College of Business (NESB) is offering its Fundamentals of Banking (BNK 201) course free to employees of CCUA member credit unions.

The three-credit, eight-week undergraduate course will be offered six times per year for employees who are within the first 12 months of employment (Daily CU Scan Aug. 19).

The corporate partnership also includes preferred pricing for online, college-accredited courses and degree programs for credit union employees.

NECB is the oldest college in New England dedicated solely to business and finance with expertise in educating working adults. NECB also offers an online learning platform.

Ninety-eight percent of graduates have indicated that they have improved their performance at work as a result of their education, and 45% have advanced in their careers as a result of their NECB education.
