NAPERVILLE, Ill. (9/29/15)--LSC’s EZ Launch program has resonated so well with credit unions and members that the Illinois Credit Union League subsidiary has approved as many applications since May 1 of this year as in all of 2014.
Re-tooled credit scoring, marketing efforts, and a streamlined approval process have fueled the program’s success, LSC said.
For credit union members, EZ Launch provides two sought-after options. The first is the CUMONEY Elite card, which provides rewards to members with extreme loyalty. The second is the CUMONEY Progress card, for those looking to rebuild or establish credit.
EZ Launch has been filling a void for credit unions, too. Given an environment of increased operational responsibilities, the referral card program was designed with minimal internal involvement and easy implementation in mind. All credit unions have to do is send interested members to the website and LSC handles all the back office functions from that point forward. The program is free to implement, credit unions assume no fraud risk, and it pays them in return.
“At LSC, we regularly hear about the challenges credit unions face with regard to their operational environment and keeping up with member preferences,” said Phil Seely, LSC director of portfolio development. “In response to those needs, we have revamped EZ Launch to help members reach their financial goals and at the same time, provide credit unions with a straightforward opportunity to build income and foster long term member relationships.”
