Test version of new NCUA website available for preview, comment

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (9/29/15)--A preview of the National Credit Union Administration’s new website is now active and open for feedback, the agency announced Monday. The new test site is based on feedback from stakeholders, and is designed to be easier to navigate and more responsible on a variety of devices, including mobile phones and tablets.

According to the NCUA, the new site features a “new professional look and feel, a mobile-responsive design and improved navigation that allows users to find information more easily.”

One user-centric feature allows users to self-identify and access the agency’s most frequently requested content. The preview site also features a redesigned newsroom where users can access the latest news, read articles from The NCUA Report and download graphics and photos.

NCUA Chair Debbie Matz encouraged all interested parties to explore the website and provide the agency with feedback, saying suggestions will help the NCUA refine the final product.

During the preview period, the NCUA will continue to make improvements, add new features and enhance content. Comments can be sent to ncuapreview@ncua.gov.

The agency’s current NCUA.gov homepage will remain operational with the latest information and news until the new website is formally launched later this year.
