RALEIGH, N.C., and COLUMBIA, S.C. (10/6/15)--The Carolinas Credit Union League (CCUL) has launched its new Leadership Development Institute (LDI), the league announced Thursday.
LDI is an annual program of workshops and independent study designed to provide credit union professionals critical thinking skills and leadership strategies essential for advancement and success.
The institute has a limited annual class. CCUL is accepting online applications through Dec. 31 for the first 2016 program. It will then announce the inaugural LDI class, which will begin work in March.
LDI is presented in partnership with the Center for Leadership Studies. It will feature quarterly two-day workshops at the Friday Center at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. The custom curriculum includes mini-assignments that bridge from one quarterly workshop to the next. LDI graduates will receive a certificate at the end of the year.
“Because our collective pursuit of growth, evolution and long-term success challenges each of us to change with it, the Leadership Development Institute is the league’s evolution in inspiring, connecting and advancing the people who make up our movement, said CCUL President/CEO John Radebaugh.
