SMA Solutions used its five-minute pitch at the CUNA Technology Council’s Speed Rounds vendor product competition to tout Ascern, the data analytics management platform that can see into the future.
And CUNA Tech/OpSS Council Conference attendees believe Ascern’s future is bright.
The Houston-based company beat out 21 competitors for the Best in Show award, announced Tuesday at the CUNA Tech/OpSS Council Conference in Orlando, Fla.
The platform can track transactions in near-real time and also has predictive capability, which among its many qualities allows proper and timely deployment of staff, SMA Solutions’ Will Pulley told attendees.
Two other vendors were recognized for winning their rounds.
In the first round, Ondot Systems pitched CardControl, which empowers members to set parameters on how their credit cards can be used, affecting transactions in real time, says Rocky Scales, vice president of sales. Members can set limitations geographically, by merchant type, or by transaction maximum, and you can add dependents’ cards to your account, too.
iQuantify and Daon tied for the victory in the third and final speed round.
iQuantifi’s RoboPlanner engages your members based on their financial goals and recommends your credit union’s products to achieve those goals, says Tom White, founder and CEO. The platform, which addresses long-range goals and current cash flow, is based on responsive design so it’s user-friendly on any device.
Daon demonstrated IdentityX, a biometrics platform that authenticates by facial and vocal recognition. USAA introduced Identity X and already more than 1 million people use it to access their accounts, says Bob Long, senior vice president, sales Americas. “Biometrics is real, it’s here, and it’s being used today—passwords are going away,” Long says.
