TALLAHASSEE, Fla., and BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (11/23/15)--A YouTube ad supporting the League of Southeastern Credit Union Image Campaign has surpassed 1 million views.
The “Petting Zoo” is the first Cooperative Image Campaign to pass the 1 million mark milestone. It has more than doubled the number of views of the 2014 TV ads that were placed on YouTube (eSignal Daily Nov. 20).
We knew the concept of having an ad that could be shared on YouTube and social media had real opportunities,” Patrick La Pine, LSCU president/CEO, told News Now. “To have more than 1.3 million views of all three of our shareable ads shows that consumers find them humorous and it resonates with them.”
“The analytics of the league’s media buy shows that the shareable ads on YouTube have also garnered more than 4 million impressions, La Pine noted. “We had a good response from our YouTube media buy in 2014, but what we’re seeing in 2015 is that when the content is geared more toward online viewing and wanting the consumer to share the ad, the results are much greater. YouTube has been a very effective marketing tool for the Cooperative Image Campaign.”
