ALEXANDRIA, Va. (12/17/15)--A full complement of resources and information for consumers on the latest scams is now available via the newly launched Fraud Prevention Center from the National Credit Union Administration.
The center contains information on how to recognize common scans, protect finances and take action if one becomes a victim of fraud.
According to the NCUA, email, text messaging, portal mail and other Internet scams help thieves steal billions from consumers. The NCUA’s new Fraud Prevention Center is meant to make finding resources as easy as possible for users, including a mobile-device responsive design and easy-to-use navigation.
