MADISON, Wis. (12/22/15)--CUNA has announced that next year’s CUNA World-Class Service Leadership School will take place May 23-25, at The Ritz-Carlton New Orleans.
The event invites credit union leaders from across the country to immerse themselves in the service culture of The Ritz-Carlton, which boasts near unrivaled hotel service experiences.
“Today’s consumers want a financial services experience that makes them feel welcome, appreciated and taken care of; making quality service an absolute necessity for credit unions,” said Meghann Dawson, CUNA director of learning events. “Attendees of this event learn about a proven model of service excellence that attracts guests the world over.”
During the experiential school, attendees learn about The Ritz-Carlton’s service philosophy, then witness it first-hand at the hotel.
The format allows participants to learn concrete strategies for improving the service at their credit unions.
Rick Olson, business and motivational speaker, and Joseph Quitoni, corporate director of culture transformation at The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, will deliver presentations during the school.
Discussions will emphasize coaching, hiring, onboarding and accountability.
“The day with the Ritz-Carlton staff was eye-opening and very uplifting,” said Lori Horstman, past attendee and vice president of member experience at Altra FCU, Onalaska, Wis. “Additionally, I learned invaluable tips on how to get managers to coach from Rick Olson’s presentation and the other participants.”
