NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (1/12/16)--The National Association of Credit Union Services Organizations (NACUSO) is seeking nominations for the 2016 CUSO of the Year Award and the 2016 Credit Union Collaboration and Innovation Award.
Also this year, a new category, the New CUSO of the Year Award, will be added for CUSOs started within the past five years.
“We know that it takes time to grow the business so our goal is to showcase those efforts that we believe have real staying power and are already making an impact,” said Jack Antonini, NACUSO president/CEO.
Nominations are due Feb. 17.
Award presentations will take place April 6 during the 2016 NACUSO Network Conference in Las Vegas.
Since its inception in 1998, the CUSO of the Year Award has recognized such CUSOs as CO-OP Shared Branch network, CU Direct, CU*Answers and CUSO Financial Services. Last year’s recipients were Open Technology Solutions and Shared Service Solutions.
NACUSO introduced the Credit Union Collaboration and Innovation Award in 2012 to recognize a credit union demonstrating the successful use of a CUSO model to serve its membership’s financial needs. Past winners include Bethpage (N.Y.) FCU; America First FCU, Riverdale, Utah; Workers’FCU, Fitchburg, Mass; and Bellco CU, Greenwood Village, Colo.
The judges for the 2016 awards will include leaders from the credit union industry and cooperative business sector who have demonstrated experience in innovation and collaboration.
