CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle thanked the nearly 5,000-strong credit union advocacy army that came to Washington this week to talk about the credit union difference.
During the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), credit union leaders met with their representatives to talk about top priorities, including field-of-membership expansion, protecting member and credit union data, regulatory burden, and the importance of maintaining credit unions’ not-for-profit tax status.
Nussle urged attendees to continue to spread the message about the credit union difference.
“Take that credit union difference message to every possible corner you can,” he said in a GAC wrap-up video. “And don’t forget to contact policymakers and their staff back in your states and local areas.”
