WASHINGTON (3/9/16)--Marie Osmond, co-founder of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals, has posted brief videos on Facebook and Twitter thanking credit unions for their 20 years of support and $150 million donated to CMN Hospitals under the iconic Credit Unions for Kids banner.
“We are forever grateful,” Osmond says in the video.
Osmond has almost 650,000 likes on Facebook and more than 160,000 Twitter followers--providing credit unions with wide exposure for their charitable efforts.
“As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of Credit Unions for Kids and the impact America’s credit unions have had on Children’s Miracle Network hospitals, we have invited Marie Osmond to help us tell the remarkable story behind credit unions support of sick and injured kids throughout the United States,” said Joe Dearborn, Credit Unions for Kids senior director. “She has enthusiastically joined in on the celebration by thanking credit unions via social media. We encourage credit unions to like and share Marie’s video on social media and help spread the news about the credit union difference.”
Since becoming a fundraising partner in 1996, more than 3,000 credit unions and numerous business partners across the United States have become the third-largest corporate fundraising partner for CMN Hospitals.
