The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has scheduled its next Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) meeting for Sept. 1, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. (ET). CUAC advises the bureau on regulating financial products and services, how it will affect credit unions, and contains a number of CUNA members.
The topic for the meeting is youth financial capability and debt collection, and the official agenda will be published Aug. 17.
The meeting will be held at the CFPB’s main office at 1275 First St. NW, Washington, DC. The public can attend, but attendees need to RSVP at firstname.lastname@example.org by noon Aug. 31, and must include “CUAC” in the subject line.
