Credit Union Magazine is seeking nominations for 2017 Credit Union Heroes, those who serve as examples for the entire movement through their service, advocacy and commitment to the credit union movement. The nomination deadline is Dec. 9.
“Each year we seek to recognize and acknowledge those who are making significant contributions in moving the credit union movement forward,” said Ann Peterson, CUNA’s vice president of publishing. “For 2017, we continue the tradition, looking for people who truly have invested their hearts and souls into creating a lasting impression on the credit union movement.”
CSCU is sponsoring the Credit Union Hero of the Year Award for the second year. This is the campaign’s 10th year.
“CSCU is proud to continue our partnership with CUNA in sponsoring the Credit Union Hero of the Year award,” said Antonio Hill, CSCU’s vice president of marketing. “We appreciate the important role that credit union employees play in their communities throughout the U.S.”
Credit Union Magazine will feature those selected as Credit Union Heroes in its March issue. Readers then vote at news.cuna.org to select the 2017 Credit Union Hero of the Year, who will be honored at the America’s Credit Union Conference, June 25-28 in Las Vegas.
