FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Madison, Wis. (November 19, 2015) – Credit Union Magazine is seeking nominations for 2016 CU Heroes, those who serve as examples for the entire movement through their service, advocacy and commitment to credit union ideals. Nominations are due December 15.
“This is a special opportunity to recognize individuals who give everything they have to the credit union movement,” says Ann Peterson, CUNA’s vice president of publishing. “We are searching for individuals who have made significant and lasting contributions to the credit union movement.”
The 2016 CU Hero of the Year is sponsored by Card Services for Credit Unions (CSCU), one of the credit union industry’s leading payments associations. “The CU Heroes program exemplifies the credit union philosophy of people helping people,” says Joel Smith, AVP Marketing, CSCU. “We are proud to support credit union employees who positively impact their communities.”
Credit Union Magazine will feature those selected as CU Heroes in the March issue of Credit Union Magazine. After which, readers can vote at news.cuna.org to decide the 2016 CU Hero of the Year, who will be honored at the America’s Credit Union Conference, June 26-29, 2016 in Seattle.
