Madison, Wis. (November 18, 2015)— Submissions are now open for The Pitch. Held for the first time last year, the contest calls for marketing and business development professionals to propose a big idea, project or concept for a chance to win $10,000 and support from a top marketing agency.
“This contest has been a phenomenal opportunity for our credit union’s marketing efforts,” says Jeremy Daggs of University and Community FCU, last year’s winner of The Pitch. “Winning ‘The Pitch’ allowed us to acquire a smart car for promotional purposes at community events. To engage the community, individuals can draw on the car with markers and connect with products that are showcased at the car. The car has proven to be an engaging and effective way to increase our brand awareness.”
To receive consideration for “The Pitch,” credit unions must fill out an application and create a 2-3 minute video explaining their idea. The top finalists will present their pitch live onsite at CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, March 20-23, 2016 in Anaheim, CA. At the end of the conference, the prize will be presented to the pitch with the greatest potential impact for its credit union.
“We loved working on The Pitch because we are excited and inspired by credit unions that pursue bold, unconventional strategies for growth,” says Sarah Bacehowski of Mills Marketing, which collaborated with University and Community FCU on their winning project.
