FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Madison, Wis. (July 15, 2015) – 16 credit union financial professionals earned the Credit Union Certified Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation at CUNA Certified Financial Counselor School: Part 2, held June 22-25, 2015 in Madison.
“The CCUFC designation prepares you for the many financial counseling obstacles you may encounter with a member. The CUNA Credit Union Financial Counseling Certification Program (FiCEP) teaches you the tools needed to help your members who are in crisis and educate them on how to avoid a crisis,” says new designee Katie Karls, CCUFC, CUDE Branch Manager-Mortgage Specialist at Premier Financial CU.
This year’s designees earned the certification by completing Parts 1 and 2 of the FiCEP and passing the corresponding exams.
Credit union professionals interested in guiding members through future financial situations and that are interested in earning the CCUFC designation will be able to do so by visiting cuna.org/ficep.
