Both parts of CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool, the online version of CUNA’s comprehensive training and certification program on credit union regulatory compliance, have been officially slated for next year. The Introduction eSchool will be held Feb. 7-April 6, while the Update eSchool will be held Aug. 1-22.
“Because regulatory compliance is such an important area for credit unions to understand, we believe it is important to make training on the subject as accessible as possible,” said Melisa Kallestad, CUNA instructional design manager of compliance. “Convenient and comprehensive, these eSchools provide an abundance of regulatory compliance information for credit union professionals to execute at their credit union.”
The Introduction eSchool covers the 5 main areas of regulations outlined in CUNA RegTraC. After finishing the curriculum, participants have the opportunity to earn the Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE) designation.
CUNA Regulatory Compliance Certification eSchool: Update allows credit union compliance professionals to get up to speed on compliance hot topics and recertify their CUCE designation. Participants pick elective sessions to supplement the program’s core sessions. Sessions in both eSchools are designed and hosted by regulatory experts.
