CUNA will be tracking the Senate’s “vote-a-rama” this week, as it will take a rapid series of votes on amendments to a budget resolution. The budget resolution is how the 115th Congress will begin the process of repealing the Affordable Care Act.
“There’s a number of amendments that will be filed to the budget resolution, and we’re tracking those to see if any will have impact on credit unions or the financial services sector,” said CUNA Chief Advocacy Officer Ryan Donovan. “We haven’t identified any at this point, but it’s a process that requires a lot of vigilance because there isn’t a lot of debate, if any, on these amendments, it’s basically vote after vote after vote.”
