Credit union organizations can now apply for Biz Kid$ Financial Education grants from the National Credit Union Foundation.
Applications for the grants, which will total up to $100,000 this year, are due March 31.
The grants are awarded to organizations that would use the funding for programs that incorporate Biz Kid$ to improve youth financial literacy. The projects can leverage partnerships with teachers, students, local PBS stations, or other community stakeholders who can help plan events, organize activities or circulate curriculum.
“In the past 5 years we’ve distributed these grants, we have seen credit union organizations find creative ways to use the Biz Kid$ program,” said Danielle Brown, the Foundation's director of development and donor relations. “We look forward to seeing the impact of these new grants over the next year.”
