The 2017 CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC) kicks off Feb. 26, and will see more than 5,000 credit union leaders come to the nation’s capital for the credit union movement’s premier advocacy event. Registration starts Sunday and leads into that evening’s ED (Filene) Talk, and continues Monday with the kickoff of the general session and a number of breakout sessions.
Founder of the Global Soap Project Derreck Kayongo is this year’s ED (Filene) Talk speaker, and he will speak on the power of observation and connecting people to purpose.
Monday’s keynote speaker is Kat Cole, group president of FOCUS Brands, which owns and operates Cinnabon, Schlotzky’s, Auntie Anne’s, Seattle’s Best Coffee, and other food service companies. She will discuss, among other things, the building blocks of branding.
