Rick Metsger knew his tenure as NCUA Board Chair would be brief, with a new administration due to arrive just nine months after he moved into the role.
But Metsger focused on not being a “placeholder,” instead rolling up his sleeves and pressing the accelerator to make changes “in the best interests of American consumers and the agency,” he said Tuesday at the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference.
