The Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) has named Heather McCalman its credit union council manager. CUNA, a member of FS-ISAC, has urged the organization to increase services for credit unions.
FS-ISAC is a financial sector initiative designed to share timely, relevant and actionable physical and cybersecurity threat and incident information with the financial sector.
McCalman will work with credit union regulators, associations and state leagues, in order to serve the needs of FS-ISAC credit union customers in meeting cyber challenges. She will recommend solutions, provide industry best practices, and show how to maximize their relationship with FS-ISAC.
She previously worked for 10 years at SC State FCU, Columbia, S.C., as information security manager. She has served on the FS-ISAC Credit Union Advisory Group.
