CUNA has released the official dates for this year’s CUNA Marketing Compliance eSchool. The program—which provides participants with a complete overview of marketing and advertising regulations, the penalties attached to them and strategies for compliance--will be held live July 11-25.
“CUNA Marketing Compliance eSchool is highly recommended for any credit union professional who is responsible for ensuring that their credit union markets in a way that is fair, ethical and responsible,” says Melisa Kallestad, CUNA instructional design manager.
Over the course of three sessions hosted by compliance experts from PolicyWorks, the eSchool will explore a variety of regulations including the Unfair, Deceptive or Abusive Acts or Practices (UDAAP), Regulation N, Regulation Z and various NCUA requirements. In addition, participants will receive a complimentary copy of the CUNA Compliance and Marketing Guidebook.
The eSchool’s three sessions are:
• July 11: Marketing of Deposit Products and Other Rules;
• July 18: Closed-End Lending Advertising Rules: Auto Loans, Mortgages, Home Equity Loans, Signature Loans; and
• July 25: Open-End Credit Advertising.
