CUNA will join forces with the National Credit Union Foundation Friday for Financial Literacy Day on Capitol Hill, an event sponsored by the Foundation. Representatives for CUNA and the Foundation will be on hand from noon to 3 p.m. (ET) in rooms 2043 and 2045 of the Rayburn House Office Building.
CUNA and the Foundation’s exhibit will focus on the importance of financial education and how credit unions play a vital role in that education. The activity is part of the month-long celebration of Financial Literacy Month.
Financial Literacy Day on Capitol Hill was introduced in 2003 as a small gathering, and has since become a public event attracting hundreds of participants.
The location of the event alternates between an office location on the House of Representatives side and the Senate side of Capitol Hill.
