Comments are due May 9 on NCUA’s alternative capital advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR), and CUNA urges credit unions to comment.
Other comment deadlines this month include the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s alternative data and Equal Credit Opportunity Act amendments.
The alternative capital ANPR was issued by NCUA at its January board meeting, and CUNA President/CEO Jim Nussle said it is “vital that credit union stakeholders carefully consider the questions put forth by NCUA, and to submit their comments on the matter during the comment period.”
