New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu visited Service CU, Portsmouth, N.H., on Aug. 18, and met with the credit union’s senior leadership.
Service Credit Union President/CEO David Van Rossum and board member Cliff Taylor led the governor through the corporate offices for a the tour that included the credit union’s museum and a discussion with employees in the contact center.
Sununu ended his visit by speaking to a group of executives on the state’s economy, business development, opioid crisis and millennial demographic.
The governor emphasized the need to make the state more attractive for businesses and the workforce to fill those businesses’ employment opportunities. He also spoke about an incentive program to draw millennials to New Hampshire while keeping young residents before and after college.
