The credit union community is rallying around communities impacted by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
And they will need to continue to rally.
First came Harvey, which pounded parts of Texas. The response was swift from across the credit union world.
Then came Irma, affecting parts of Florida and the Caribbean. And the credit union community responded again.
The World Council of Credit Unions also stepped in to help.
And most recently came Maria. The toll is still unfolding, but Americans in Puerto Rico face a humanitarian crisis, according to the mayor of San Juan.
The hurricane caused staggering damage in Dominica and left Puerto Rico in shambles. https://t.co/aqy5jmMmkX— USA TODAY (@USATODAY) September 25, 2017
