CUNA members are invited to attend a free webinar to discuss the petition CUNA regarding the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), which the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has opened for comment. The members-only webinar is scheduled for 3 p.m. (ET) Wednesday and registration is open.
The webinar will highlight CUNA’s main requests for relief for credit unions and outline how credit unions can participate in the petition process. Comments are due to the FCC by Nov. 6, and the webinar will explain how the process works and how comments can be submitted.
Industry attorneys will also explain how it could impact credit unions’ ability to communicate with members on mobile phones and via text message, and will answer questions about the latest TCPA developments.
