The House Financial Services Committee will mark up 8 CUNA-supported regulatory relief bills this week, part of a markup of 23 total pieces of legislation Wednesday. CUNA will continue its engagement through the markup to work toward advancing the bills through the legislative process.
The committee’s markup is scheduled for 10 a.m. (ET) Wednesday, and will be streamed live on its website.

In addition, CUNA is engaged with a House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on communications and technology markup of a bill to amend the Communications Act of 1934. The changes would reauthorize Federal Communications Commission appropriations and provide for certain changes for FCC rules to maximize participation and efficient decision making.
