Final appeals and supervisory review committee (SRC) rules are part of NCUA’s board meeting agenda Thursday. The meeting comes a day after NCUA conducted a briefing on its 2018-2019 budget, at which CUNA presented.
CUNA generally supports NCUA’s proposals on appeals and SRCs. The appeals rule would adopt procedures governing appeals to the board that would apply to agency regulations that currently have their own embedded appeals provisions.
The SRC rule would expand the number of issues that can be appealed to the SRC, and would also expand the SRC and update its operating rules.
