The 2018 CUNA Volunteer Certification School will be held April 30 to May 4, 2018 in San Diego.
Attendees will learn the skills they need to become expert volunteers at their credit unions. The five-day introductory program covers a wide range of topics to solidify core competencies and concludes with an opportunity to become a Certified Credit Union Volunteer (CCUV) designee. New in 2018, the school offers sessions on advocacy to help volunteers become experienced stewards of the credit union movement.
“CUNA Volunteer Certification School teaches credit union volunteers the necessary skills to become experienced stewards of their credit union’s future” said James Carrick, CUNA vice president of learning events. “Whether you are a new or seasoned volunteer, the introduction or update school will have something for you to add to your experience and make you a well-rounded and confident leader for your credit union.”
Current CCUVs can attend the three-day update program, keeping them ahead of the latest credit union topics and trends while networking with fellow expert volunteers from around the country.
