CUNA awarded 55 participants with the Credit Union Enterprise Risk Management Expert (CUERME) designation in recognition of successfully completing the designation requirements during the December CUNA Enterprise Risk Management Certification School in Las Vegas.
ERM is a business discipline which is employed by organizations in many different industries to identify, assess and respond to risk. More than just a way to avoid risk, ERM is intended to help organizations identify and leverage risk, and create new organizational value along the way.
Presented in collaboration with Rochdale Paragon Group, a credit union consultancy, CUNA Enterprise Management Certification School provides opportunities for attendees to gain new contacts in the risk community to share their experiences, discuss their roles and share struggles and successes. The school teaches ERM strategy through a combination of expert sessions and group exercises, and allows attendees to test for the CUERME designation upon completion.
This event will be held next April 16-18 in San Diego.
