The brand new mobile branch--built by MBSystems, of Reno, Nev.--blends the functionality of a traditional branch lobby with the mobility of a recreational vehicle. The flexibility and convenience will allow Meridian Trust to serve members at special events and in underserved communities, and to provide financial services in the event of natural disasters.
The mobile branch includes an ATM and allows members to conduct transactions ranging from account opening to auto loans.
"This isn't a society where we want a nameless, touchless financial relationship," said Kim Withers, Meridian Trust FCU president/CEO. "With the mobile branch, members of our organization have another access point at community events, dealership promotions or local activities. We are there where the action is."
