The CUNA Technology Council presented its Best of Show Award to Bazaarvoice, Austin, Texas, for its innovation in social commerce. The award was presented at CUNA’s 2011 Governmental Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.
Bazaarvoice helps businesses capture, display, share, and analyze customer conversations across the digital space. Its use of technology and personalized services help global brands, including credit unions, build online communities that drive measurable business goals, making it easy for their members to share their opinions, knowledge, and experiences online.
“Leveraging Bazaarvoice’s social solution to get member feedback will allow credit unions to find new ways to engage members, improve products and services, and to promote member advocacy,” noted Rudy Pereira, CUNA Technology Council chair and senior vice president of operations and technology for Alliant Credit Union in Chicago.
Since 2001, the CUNA Technology Council has presented the Best of Show Award to the exhibitor that demonstrates a commitment to delivering technology that will further the growth of products and services in the credit union marketplace.
Vendors’ products are evaluated on affordability, the benefit to credit unions and their members, a commitment to open standards, and the health of the company.
