WASHINGTON (11/12/14)--With Election Day more than a week in the rear view mirror, more races around the country are being resolved. Of the 397 races with a credit union-supported candidate, only six races are still unresolved at press time Tuesday evening.
Since the last News Now update, three credit union supporters have declared victory:
One race is left outstanding in the Senate, as credit union-supported Sen. Mark Begich (D) trails his opponent, Republican Dan Sullivan, by 8,149 votes. The Associated Press reports that there are 50,000 absentee ballots currently being counted.
