WASHINGTON (11/10/14)--Although last week's election saw more than 90% of credit union-supported candidates claim victory, there are still a number races yet to be decided featuring those candidates.
One such close race in for a Senate seat in Virginia, wrapped up Friday afternoon. Republican candidate Ed Gillespie conceded to credit union supported incumbent Sen. Mark Warner (D).
The race was tighter than expected, with Gillespie holding a lead for a majority of Tuesday evening, but Warner's lead grew throughout the week, and stood at 16,727 votes when Gillespie conceded the race.
