MADISON, Wis. (12/16/14)--To keep credit unions on pace with today's dynamic payments arena, the CUNA Payments Roundtable will address an entirely new set of credit union-specific payments topics in 2015, the Credit Union National Association announced Monday.
The roundtable will take place June 1-2 in New Orleans.
"Last year's roundtable made a big impact, keying us in on topics ranging from Bitcoin to upcoming changes in mobile payments," said James Carrick, CUNA's vice president of learning events. "This year we will keep our focus on big-impact issues, but with a whole new round of topics and guests for 2015."
The CUNA Payments Roundtable will explore the newest payment systems developments and their effects on credit unions. Attendees of this year's roundtable will take part in facilitated discussions with entrepreneurs and experts to get an early look at upcoming technologies, hear unbiased analysis of the latest trends in the credit union industry and set a strategy for their own payments strategies.
