LAS VEGAS (11/4/14)--A full slate of keynote speakers, breakout sessions, workshops and solution sessions are planned as part of this week's CUNA Community Credit Union and Growth Conference, which kicks off today in Las Vegas and runs through Thursday.
The conference, which aims to bolster connections within the credit union movement and help guide credit unions to maximize their growth potential, hits the ground running with a general session keynote speech by Jeff Rendel, president of Rising Above Enterprises.
Rendel will talk about how credit unions can return to their roots of turning the financial services industry on its ear, such as when the Federal Credit Union Act was passed in 1934, and reinvent themselves to concentrate on growth, innovation and prosperity for all.
At the morning general session Wednesday, Credit Union Magazine's 2014 Rock Stars will present their "Ideas to Make Your Credit Union Rock."
