CUNA to host Collections and Bankruptcies School in Seattle

MADISON, Wis. (4/9/15)--This fall, credit union collectors will learn to tackle a variety of collections issues and how to effectively manage bankruptcy cases at CUNA Collections and Bankruptcy School, Sept. 28-Oct. 1 in Seattle.
Sessions are led by attorneys and collectors who will address delinquency, bankruptcy laws and collection department management. Attendees also have the opportunity to attend a best practices roundtable to discuss how real credit unions handle delinquency and bankruptcy scenarios.
Session highlights include:
Ask an attorney;
Embracing the cooperative spirit in collections by sharing best practices;
Significant financial trends in collections;
Previewing the growing regulatory and litigation risks; and
Embracing new tactics and emerging technology.
Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to come early for the real estate collections pre-conference workshop.
