ALEXANDRIA, Va. (12/5/14)--A final rule on appraisal exemptions highlights the agenda for the National Credit Union Administration's final board meeting of the year, scheduled for Dec. 11. The proposal would revise Parts 701 and 722 of the NCUA's rules and regulations dealing with appraisals.
Specifically, it would:
In its comment letter on the proposal, the Credit Union National Association generally supported the plan, particularly the elimination of the requirement to make an appraisal copy available, due to its overlap with Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
The agenda will also include a request for comment on the agency's Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act review and a look at the 2015 Corporate Stabilization Fund Oversight budget.
