KCUA's Dyer wins state PR awards

November 21, 2014

WICHITA, Kan. (11/24/14)--A Kansas Credit Union Association (KCUA) staff member took home a number of awards given out by the Public Relations Society of America's (PRSA) Kansas Chapter recently.

PRSA's awards honor the best public relations, media relations and corporate communications programs in the country.

In the community relations and marketing communications category, KCUA Communications Director Susan Dyer received the Clarus Award for her role in the league's Make a Difference Event: Gas and Cash Giveaway.

Through the event, credit union staff members surprise people in their local communities with special giveaways and events, often announced through social media.

Dyer also was recognized with the integrated communications excellence award for the Money Possible: Destroy Debt consumer financial literacy campaign.

She also received a distinguished service award.
