April 29, 2015
HARRISBURG, Pa. (4/30/15)--The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) is now offering identity theft protection and restoration services.
The league is offering the service through Sherpa Identity Protection, a provider of identity-protection and fraud-detection services, to help credit union members protect their personal information.
"Credit unions are members' most trusted source for financial information," said Patrick Conway, PCUA president/CEO. "With Sherpa, credit unions will be in a position to help their members proactively protect their identity and help them recover from any financial damage in the event of a data breach or identity theft."
Sherpa offers three levels of protection for its monitoring and reporting services. Regardless of the level selected, Sherpa includes credit score monitoring, Internet surveillance monitoring, Social Security number trace, full-service identity restoration, lost wallet protection and up to $100 million in identity theft insurance with no deductible.
