The Cooperative Credit Union Association is asking National Credit Union Administration Chair Debbie Matz to return to an 18-month examination cycle saying, in part, that less frequent exams will help examiners concentrate on problem areas.

Oral arguments in the lawsuit against the Federal Communications Commission regarding its Telephone Consumer Protection Act will begin Oct. 19. CUNA filed an amicus brief last year asking for the ruling to be vacated.
