Registration opens for 2018 Compliance Management System eSchool

MADISON, Wis., and WASHINGTON (August 23, 2018) - CUNA has opened registration for its CUNA Compliance Management System eSchool. The eSchool is designed to provide instruction on best-practices for credit unions constructing or updating their Compliance Management Systems (CMS).

“Compliance management systems came into focus after the NCUA and other regulatory organizations highlighted them as a necessary foundation for financial institutions,” said Starla Bremel, instructional design manager at CUNA. “While a lot of people are aware of the need for a CMS, they may not have the information they need to structure their own. These sessions are designed to provide credit unions with thorough, applicable understanding of CMS essentials.”

This eSchool will empower credit unions seeking to customize a CMS that suits their needs while meeting regulatory standards.

The eSchool is divided into three sessions:

  • October 17, 2018
  • October 24, 2018
  • November 7, 2018
