Resources for the Front Line

Check Hold Webinar

Consumers complain frequently about check holds. Make sure your staff has the information they need to serve members and to protect your credit union from fraud. During the Reg CC & Check Law Issues for Frontline Staff webinar, Nov. 4, participants will:

  • Learn the maximum timeframe for holds on achecks;
  • Understand the placing of exception holds;
  • Examine your credit union’s rights when a check is returned;
  • Learn how to handle stop payments, stale-dated checks, and post-dated checks; and
  • Experience scenarios front-line staff encounter daily.

  • Why they should care about credit;
  • What the CARD Act of 2009 means;
  • Tips for using credit wisely;
  • How to build a solid credit history; and
  • How to prevent fraud and ID theft.
